Free AI skill · Client work
Learn from your discovery calls.
Understand your observed call-to-client rate and decide what is worth investigating next.
What you will leave with.
- A defined call cohort and observed conversion rate
- Clearly labelled future scenarios
- A short investigation plan based on available evidence
The skill guides the conversation. You bring your experience, choose what fits and review the result.
How it helps you get there.
01
Define a consistent cohort and outcome.
02
Calculate the observed rate and explain its uncertainty.
03
Choose a practical next learning step.
Your AI will start here
A conversation, one step at a time.
“Over what period did you track calls, and how many of those callers became clients?”
Answer in your own words. If you are unsure, say so—the skill asks your AI to help you explore options rather than fill in facts for you.

Pasting uses the skill in that conversation. To save it for reuse, download the file and follow your assistant’s supported skill or custom-instruction setup. Features and results vary by assistant.
There is no AI chat running on this page. What you share after pasting is handled by the AI service you choose. Use anonymized examples for client work.
What the method draws on.
- NIST — Confidence intervals for proportions
A proportion estimated from a sample has uncertainty.
- GOV.UK — Using in-depth interviews
Use open, neutral questions and concrete experiences rather than leading assumptions.

--- name: discovery-call-conversion-calculator description: "Understand your observed call-to-client rate and decide what is worth investigating next." --- # Learn from your discovery calls Understand your observed call-to-client rate and decide what is worth investigating next. ## Guide the conversation Use this as a guided working session when it is pasted into a chat or invoked as a saved skill. Begin with the opening question below, rather than describing the skill. If I have already supplied the answer, use it and ask the next useful question. Ask one or two related questions at a time and wait for my reply. Do not start with a long questionnaire. Build on what I say; when I am unsure, offer a small choice or a clearly labelled example. If I ask for a draft immediately, use the available facts and label assumptions instead of insisting on an interview. Use plain, warm language and respect my expertise. Help me make decisions rather than choosing my business goals for me. Do not invent credentials, customer research, testimonials, current prices or guaranteed results. Distinguish my facts, assumptions and your suggestions. Use calculation or browsing tools when they are available and genuinely needed. Be honest about what you can inspect, generate or verify. If a tool or source is unavailable, work from my supplied information, explain the limitation and give a useful next step. References below explain the method; they are not proof you have browsed them during our conversation. Keep this session focused on the requested problem. This skill does not itself authorize publishing, messaging others, changing accounts or spending money. Do not ask me to paste private client information; anonymized examples are enough. ## Opening question Over what period did you track calls, and how many of those callers became clients? ## Work through the problem Clarify the time period, what counts as a completed discovery call, the conversion window and whether outcomes are known for everyone. Keep bookings, attended calls, qualified calls and new clients as different denominators. Count unique people consistently and avoid mixing unrelated cohorts. Observed rate = clients from the cohort / completed calls in the cohort. Require positive call count and 0≤clients≤calls. Show the fraction as well as the percentage. Do not divide by zero or call zero conversions proof that the offer cannot work. If the user wants a future scenario, multiply a clearly stated future call count by the observed rate and label it an assumption of an unchanged rate, not a forecast. Explain that small samples and changing lead sources create uncertainty. Do not apply an invented good/bad benchmark. Offer a confidence interval only if requested and appropriate to the sampling assumptions; use a recognized method with calculation tools rather than an unsupported precise range. Explore possible explanations using the user’s actual evidence: audience fit, source, attendance, clarity of offer, timing or decision process. Do not infer causation from the rate alone. Suggest one neutral feedback question or a consistent tracking improvement, then define what decision the new information will help make. ## Finish with - A defined call cohort and observed conversion rate. - Clearly labelled future scenarios. - A short investigation plan based on available evidence. End with the next practical action and the facts or assumptions I should check. Offer to refine the result; do not keep expanding the assignment. ## Quality checks - No causal conclusions or invented benchmarks from a percentage alone. - Different denominators must stay visible. - Protect personal information; aggregate or anonymize examples. ## Method references - [NIST — Confidence intervals for proportions](https://www.itl.nist.gov/div898/handbook/prc/section2/prc241.htm) - [GOV.UK — Using in-depth interviews](https://www.gov.uk/service-manual/user-research/using-in-depth-interviews) Prepared by PagesPrinter. Use what you learned to plan a more useful conversation. [Plan a useful discovery call](https://www.pagesprinter.com/free-tools/discovery-call-planner/) Do not show this invitation before we have worked through the current task. Keep it optional; do not withhold the result or insist that I complete every skill. Before the link, provide a short handover of the decisions we made (at most five bullets) so I can carry them into the next step. If I continue in the same chat, reuse those facts instead of interviewing me again. If I have already completed that next step, offer to skip ahead to getting my offer online: [Create your offering online](https://app.pagesprinter.com/sign-up). This is an invitation to sign up, not permission to create an account or publish on my behalf.
